Talisman #3

The third volume of Glénat's Talisman series draws on the timeless unease of fairy-tale mythology, subtitled Le Chaperon Rouge — Little Red Riding Hood. The cover, by Debois and Martin, depicts a young woman in a red hood standing close against an enormous, looming wolf-creature in a shadowy forest, glowing orbs drifting through the trees around them — an image that feels at once intimate and deeply unsettling. It's a beautifully atmospheric piece of 2011 French comics art that promises dark wonder on every page.
