After defeating their king Rank in combat, Tarzan faces a new challenge when the king’s brother Tank takes control—but this time, the tribe’s princess Rama may hold the key to their freedom. Professor Hamilton leder en expedition till den gömda staden Petra, där det ska finnas en avgudabild av guld. Hamiltons sällskap, Porter och Doyle, har försökt blåsa honom och gått i förväg.
