Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5

The cover by Javier Fernández says it all: an imposing, masked face dominates the composition, red-eyed and coldly menacing, while all four Turtles — Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael — peer out defiantly from within the grooves of what appears to be a Foot Clan insignia carved into that same face. It's a striking visual shorthand for the tension baked into the story title, "Return to New York, Part Five: The Law of the Foot." Jason Aaron and Darick Robertson's 2024 run continues to deliver, and this fifth issue looks like a pressure-cooker moment for the brothers.
