This is an anthology of humorous Marine Corps stories. "Hup Bradley" follows a frustrated soldier dealing with endless bureaucratic details regarding a promised furlough that never materializes. "Spike and Bat in Dowdy's Psychosis" depicts a Marine attempting to exact revenge on a fellow soldier by framing him for a dirty rifle, only to have the scheme backfire. A third story features a Marine preparing for a date with a woman named Gwen, expecting to meet her alone but discovering she has arranged blind dates with numerous other servicemen lined up to meet him.
