Two Marines returning from Korea—Spike and Bat—end up at loggerheads over a picture of movie starlet Wanda Farr, and their brawl at a Hollywood studio lot accidentally becomes the inspiration for a picture the desperate head of production is desperately hunting for. What starts as a case of mistaken credit spirals into something far more complicated when the studio decides to make their squabble into a film, with consequences neither Spike nor Bat saw coming.
Monty, Tex, and Canarsie are captured by enemy forces in North Korea and must find a way to escape the prison camp. After fashioning tools from horseshoes, the three marines cut through barbed wire and jump a freight train heading away from their captors—but the journey proves far more harrowing than they bargained for, with a broken arm, a near-drowning, and colliding trains threatening their bid for freedom. With daylight closing in and the enemy drawing near, they race toward friendly lines with time running out.
