Terroriste #2
The second chapter of Glénat's Terroriste series brings writer Bartoll and artist Rovero back together for a tense, shadow-drenched story set in Naples — where, according to the cover's headline, a US Air Force general has been killed by a bomb. The cover itself sets a brooding tone immediately: a haggard, hollow-eyed figure slumps in what appears to be a darkened, decaying space, a red scarf the only splash of color against the muted blues and grays of Rovero's atmospheric linework. If the 2009 series' opening volume left you intrigued by the world of European political thrillers and Red Brigades-era tension, this second installment looks like exactly the place to press further in.
