In a cartoon universe, Roland has stolen a super space suit for Jack Parmenter, son of one of the world's richest men. Jack dons the suit, chooses the name "Bird", pushes a button, and zaps into the real world, but dies in a fall. An unnamed wino dons the suit, dodges cops, and zaps back to the cartoon universe. New Jack cleans up for his new rich life. Kidnappers break in and nab Jack for ransom. Roland sends a signal and powers up the super-suit. Jack breaks free and captures the kidnappers. Outside, a child has fallen through the ice. Jack saves his life and decides to keep helping.
