The Devilers #7

From Joshua Hale Fialkov and Matt Triano, The Devilers reaches its seventh and final chapter with a cover that speaks volumes in shadow and flame — a lone silhouetted figure stands at the end of a tunnel of hellish red light, the inverted pentagram of the title looming overhead like a brand. The composition is genuinely unsettling, all consuming darkness pressing in against that distant, fragile glow of the solitary figure. Dynamite's "Creators Unleashed" imprint delivered some bold horror territory with this series, and this closing image makes a compelling case for the whole run.
