The Flash #51
In "The Life Story of Wally West," a poignant epilogue to the Flash War, the older Wally West grapples with the loss of his children in a desperate, endless run. Through Iris’s memories, we glimpse the journey of a young Wally from Kid Flash to the Flash, while the younger Wally struggles with Barry’s choices and walks away on his own. When the weight of his search becomes too much, Barry turns to Superman and Wonder Woman to bring Wally to Sanctuary for healing. Written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Scott Kolins, with colors by Luis Guerrero and letters by Steve Wands, the issue’s cover by Howard Porter captures the emotional gravity of a hero at his breaking point.
