The Flintstones Annual #1964
In "Introducing Pebbles," Buddy and Sheepy attempt to master flight with a homemade air balloon, only to have it destroyed by a fiery dragon. Crashing into the peculiar Fly Valley—where everything that flies has an address—they devise a new plan: using pelicans to carry them, with the birds holding food in their beaks so they can eat mid-flight. Written by Del Connell, this whimsical adventure from the 1964 Flintstones Annual showcases a delightfully absurd take on flight and friendship.

When Buddy and Sheepy are flying they have a problem with the birds carrying them dive-bombing for food and throwing them all over the place. They decide they need to come up with a new way to fly. They create a working air balloon but a flying dragon burns it up. They crash land in Fly Valley where everything that flies has an address. They come up with the idea of two pelicans holding food in their beaks to fly them so that they can eat while flying.
