This is an anthology issue featuring three stories. The lead story, "A Man Missing!", follows Billy the Kid as he discovers a man tied to a spooked horse with a rattler nearby in Mexico and must act quickly to save him. A second Billy the Kid story, "To Take a Hand!", shows Billy traipsing into Mexico when he notices the man and the rattler, leading to his intervention. The issue also includes two humor stories: "South of the Border," a comedic tale about a soldier's encounter, and "Leatherneck Laffs by Henle," a military humor piece about servicemen and dining.
