Teresa Ramos is wrongly arrested by Fiorello and O'Shea for a theft from a local blood bank. After a hallucinogenic meeting with a local 'witch' lady calling herself La Bruja, Helena is asked to partner with her on the condition she help out Teresa. The real blood bank thief, Omerta, hands over an object to his employer, Stefano Mandragora, who places it in a floor safe, only to have it stolen later by a Chinese gang.
