Jan 1980 · Marvel · 0.40 USD
“Death--and Destiny!”

In "Death—and Destiny!", the Hulk races against time to stop the Sacred Flame from escaping El Dorado, only to find himself thrust into a new crisis when the flame’s fusion with Tyrannus sends it soaring into space. With Goldbug captured and the Gamma Base closing in, the Hulk must navigate a city on edge while Betty Ross’s interview with Fred Sloan continues and Colonel Glenn Talbot vows to end the rampage once and for all. Written by Steven Grant and Roger Stern, with dynamic art by Sal Buscema and vibrant colors by Glynis Wein, this 1980 issue captures the Hulk’s relentless struggle between power and purpose. The cover by Al Milgrom perfectly frames the chaos.
