Just as the battle reaches its peak, Captain Marvel arrives, forced to intervene before the destruction escalates further. Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Sal Buscema, with colors by G. Roussos and letters by Joe Rosen, this 1980 issue features a cover by Al Milgrom that captures the intensity of the clash.
