“He Flies by Night!”

In "He Flies by Night!", the Hulk faces off against the menacing Night Flyer, a new threat sent by the Corruptor to trigger his rage and seize control. With Rick Jones, Betty Ross, and the newly formed Teen Brigade watching helplessly, General Ross is pulled into a high-stakes political battle as President Reagan shifts focus to the Pentagon, framing the Hulk as a greater danger than the Soviets. Written by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema, with art by Sal Buscema and cover by Frank Miller, this 1981 issue blends personal peril with Cold War tension in a standout chapter of the Hulk's saga.
