The Hulk steps in to protect him, but as the fight unfolds, reality itself begins to unravel in unsettling ways. Written by Peter David and illustrated by Dwayne Turner, with inks by Tony DeZuniga and colors by Petra Scotese, this surreal journey into Bruce’s psyche is a standout moment in the series, all capped off with a striking cover by Steve Geiger and Bob McLeod.
