The Incredible Hulk #406
In "American Pie," Rick Jones fights to save Marlo Chandler from the shadows of her coma, clinging to hope as her brothers push for custody and Captain America arrives to take her into government care. With Betty by his side and the Hulk standing firm against both authority and force, the tension builds as Rick’s desperation reaches a breaking point—just as Marlo’s awakening begins. Written by Peter David and brought to life by Gary Frank’s dynamic art, this pivotal issue captures a raw, emotional turning point in Rick’s journey, with Cam Smith’s inks and Glynis Oliver’s colors heightening every charged moment. The cover by Gary Frank and Cam Smith perfectly frames the storm at the heart of the story.
