The Incredible Hulk #462
"Reconciliations" marks a pivotal moment in the Hulk’s saga, as Bruce Banner is brought to Area 102 and finally reunites with Betty Ross after years apart. Written by Peter David and illustrated by Adam Kubert, with inks by Mark Farmer and colors by Matthew Paine and Digital Chameleon, the issue captures a fragile calm—only for the Hulk’s psyche to resist transformation when a giant robot captures Bruce, leaving his alter ego unwilling to answer the call. The cover by Adam Kubert and Dan Green perfectly frames the tension between reunion and impending threat.
