Inside a circus cage with growling tigers prowling at their feet, the Joker faces off against Catwoman in a cracking whip standoff that perfectly captures the story's title, "The Cat and the Clown!" Ernie Chan's cover art brings real energy to the confrontation — the Clown Prince of Crime in his purple pinstripe suit grinning as Catwoman snaps her whip right at him, neither one looking the least bit intimidated. It's a wonderfully offbeat 1976 pairing that makes this issue of DC's solo Joker series hard to pass up.
