Issue five of Joshua Hale Fialkov and Brent Peeples' anti-hero series delivers a striking cover that says plenty without a word: a massive, bloodied figure crashes forward in the foreground, battered and bleeding, while a glowing, luminous figure hovers above in a burst of white light, fists clenched with unmistakable menace. The contrast between the radiant apparition and the brutalized titan below captures the series' dark, morally complicated tone perfectly. If you've been following this Image series, this cover alone makes clear that things have escalated considerably.
