The Lone Rider #17

The Lone Rider foils a scheme by corrupt Sheriff Tate, who hired outlaws to steal gold by posing as bandits wearing pillow-case masks and creating a disturbance with a derailed train. After a climactic confrontation on the runaway locomotive, the Lone Rider defeats the criminals and exposes Tate's involvement. In a secondary story, Swift Arrow rescues two captive children (Wren and Glen Jeff) held by renegade tribesmen in the territory, using his bow and arrows to defeat the kidnappers and return the young hostages to safety.
