“The Man with No Libido”

In "The Man with No Libido," Mitch takes an extreme step to escape the friend zone—undergoing a treatment that removes his libido, only to find himself at the center of a strange new social shift. As other men follow suit, the balance of attraction flips, turning untreated men into rare commodities. When his longtime friend Sasha confesses her feelings, hope seems lost—until a simple hug offers an unexpected reversal. Written by Jason Browne and illustrated with sharp, expressive detail by Steve Kearney (who also handled inks and cover art), this 2011 issue from Quiet Hell Comics explores desire, connection, and the unexpected cost of emotional detachment in a world that suddenly values it.
