"The Perfect Crime" #1 is a police procedural anthology featuring two main stories demonstrating how law enforcement solves seemingly perfect crimes. The lead story follows detectives investigating an armored car robbery where three brothers posed as workers to steal machinery, only to be caught through meticulous police work and brought to trial, where they receive ten to twenty year sentences. The second story, "Two Minute Quiz," depicts homicide detectives tracking a ruthless killer named Tommy Tours, a muscular racketeer operating throughout the city, as they gather evidence to apprehend him before he can strike again.
