A criminal named Skin attempts to execute the perfect crime by planting a bomb in Farrell's kitchen, but after playing tag with police and hearing a gas explosion, he realizes his plan has failed. When police apprehend him, Skin confesses that everything went wrong—the candle he rigged didn't ignite, no windows blew out, and his scheme unraveled completely. In a separate story, criminals Nick and Benny attempt to escape in a stolen car but are pursued by state police; Nick deliberately crashes the vehicle into a tree, and the fleeing criminals are eventually captured, proving once again that no crime is truly perfect.
