"The Man They Could Not Kill" tells of a criminal with a charmed life who survives ten attempted murders by an organization determined to eliminate him, with newspaper headlines chronicling his escapes. The story follows his eventual capture and imprisonment, where fellow inmates attempt to kill him on behalf of the organization, but he narrowly survives each attempt. The issue also includes "What Crime Cradle?" by Sgt. Audley V. Walsh of the Ridgefield Park Police Department, an article examining juvenile delinquency and the environmental factors that lead some youths to crime while their siblings raised in the same conditions remain law-abiding.
