The Phantom Sundays #6
In "A Proper Husband," the Phantom faces off against the arrogant Prince Orq, whose cruel attempt to punish a boy backfires spectacularly. When Orq sends three assassins after him—lured by promises of gold and pardon—the Phantom turns their mission into a deadly lesson. With the help of clever native guides, he outmaneuvers Orq’s entire army on a treacherous path, proving once again that justice in the jungle is as swift as it is silent. Written by Lee Falk and illustrated with bold precision by Wilson McCoy, this 1989 installment of The Phantom Sundays showcases the character’s enduring legacy in a story that’s as sharp as the jungle’s shadows.
