“Pink Prisoner”

In "Pink Prisoner," the ever-foolish Pink Panther finds himself stranded on a bizarre island after fleeing the captain of a cruise ship, where he must navigate a series of zany trials—including a hunting-obsessed Little Big Nose Guy, a wacky Tarpit of the Apes and his pet Jeeter, and a tribe that insists he summon rain as the "Pink Spirit." Written by Michael Maltese and brought to life with lively art by Phil De Lara, this 1983 Western Publishing gem delivers classic slapstick chaos with a tropical twist, all wrapped in a cover by Phil De Lara.

Stowaway Pink Panther escapes from the captain of cruise ship, only to find himself on an island full of challenges, such as Little Big Nose Guy as a big game hunter; the wacky Tarpit of the Apes and his pet Jeeter, and some natives who demand that the "Pink Spirit" make it rain. All these elements come nicely together in resolution to leave the Panther headed back toward the ship he jumped.
