The Portable Frank #[nn]
In "Frank Acquires Pupshaw," Jim Woodring delivers another surreal, dreamlike journey with Frank, the enigmatic figure navigating a world where the mundane blurs with the uncanny. After a quiet moment in his garden and a disquieting dream beneath a tree, Frank follows an invitation to the House of Mystery, only to return home to find his kitchen transformed into an unexplained chaos. With every line drawn and lettered by Woodring himself, the issue pulses with his signature off-kilter humor and visual storytelling, all rendered in his distinctive, hand-crafted style.
