“Computer War”

In "Computer War," the Punisher finds himself outgunned when his battle van is compromised, forcing a desperate escape from Kingpin’s relentless tank. With his systems failing, Kingpin turns to Mr. Wong and his nephew George to handle the numbers—and brings an assassin along for the kill. As the stakes rise, a deadly intruder strikes at the Punisher’s home, leaving a trail of blood before the masked vigilante can respond. Written by Mike Baron and illustrated with sharp intensity by Whilce Portacio, with inks by Scott Williams and colors by Janet Jackson, this 1989 issue delivers a tense, high-stakes clash of wits and violence. The cover, by Portacio and Williams, captures the moment of escalating danger with chilling precision.
