DC's mature-readers Shadow series reaches its seventh chapter with "Harold Goes to Washington," a story arc title that carries a wry, political edge. Marshall Rogers's cover renders the Shadow in his full trench coat and wide-brimmed hat, twin pistols drawn and glowing red eyes fixed forward — a looming, atmospheric figure — while a small boy in a cowboy hat and western outfit stands in the foreground, his back to us, facing the dark avenger amid swirling chaos.
