The Spectacular Spider-Man #105
In "United We Fall," Spider-Man dives into a firebombed brownstone mystery that unravels into a tangled web of corporate sabotage, labor unrest, and a mob boss eager to take over. With Janet Van Dyne on the board of a company at the center of the chaos, Spider-Man finds himself navigating a dangerous game where even allies wear masks—like Paladin, who’s more friend than foe, and whose secret date with the Wasp is interrupted by a real threat. Written by Jim Owsley and Peter David, with art by Luke McDonnell and inks by Brett Breeding, this 1985 issue blends sharp social commentary with classic Spider-Man flair, all capped off by a striking cover by Tom Morgan and Brett Breeding.
