The Tyler family rents a vacation cabin. their overuse of electricity causes a fuse to blow. Neighbor Dick Jennings arrives with replacement fuses. Jennings convinces the Tyler family to watch a television program on the history of electricity. After watching the show, the Tyler's eventually visit Jennings at his work and he gives them a tour of the power plant and tells them how it works.
