The Strangers #17
In "Blood of an Ultra!", the Strangers take a rare break from their mission to attend Elena’s fashion show, where even Candy steps into the spotlight. But the event turns deadly when Rafferty arrives, intent on killing an Ultra—stabbing an older Chinese woman before fleeing. The Pilgrim’s sudden appearance adds another layer of mystery, and as the Strangers piece together what went wrong, they realize Rafferty’s mission was not in vain. Written by Steve Englehart and illustrated by Rick Hoberg, with inks by Tim Eldred and vibrant colors by Moose Baumann, Violent Hues, and Emily Yoder, this 1994 issue blends fashion and fury, with a cover by Rick Hoberg.
