The Three Stooges #38
In "Sombreros," the Three Stooges trade their usual chaos for a European misadventure after snagging tickets from a wealthy aunt—only to swap bags with a pair of crooks and end up in the bizarre town of Ding-Bong, home of the legendary Abdominal Snowman. With the crooks hunting the Doomsday Ruby, a gem that brings nothing but bad luck, Curly Joe pulls off a banana-fueled distraction that sends everyone tumbling down the mountain in a snowy, fruit-filled frenzy. Written by Cecil Beard and illustrated by Sparky Moore, this 1968 Western comic delivers classic slapstick with a surreal twist, all on a 12-cent cover by Sparky Moore.
