The Uncanny X-Men #206
In "Freedom Is a Four-Letter Word," the X-Men find themselves caught between a city they’re trying to protect and a force sworn to stop them—Freedom Force—when their time in San Francisco takes a sudden, violent turn. With the SFPD stepping in to end the fight, the team faces a new kind of pressure: not just from their enemies, but from the consequences of their own actions, as Rachel makes a revelation that could change everything. Written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Dan Green and John Romita Jr., with colors by Glynis Oliver and letters by Tom Orzechowski, this 1986 issue features a cover by John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson.
