“Ghostly”

In "Ghostly," Magneto makes a bold move to prove his loyalty by safely delivering the world-threatening spaceship holding Kitty Pryde to Earth, returning her to the X-Men. But his triumph comes at a cost—exhausted from the effort, he’s left weakened, and Kitty faces a shocking new challenge: after years of phasing, she can no longer return to solid form. Written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Whilce Portacio, with inks by Ed Tadeo, colors by Justin Ponsor, and letters by Joe Caramagna and Virtual Calligraphy, this pivotal issue features a cover by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson.

In order to prove his loyalty to the X-Men, Magneto brings the world destroying spaceship that is imprisoning Kitty Pryde safely to Earth and returns her to the fold. Things don't turn out completely rosy, however, as he burns himself out to achieve such a monumental task and Kitty discovers that, after phasing for so long, she can no longer return to tangible form.
