Wild Bill Pecos, the fastest gunman in the west, must stop his former partner Nuggets Nugent, who has turned to murder and robbery. After weeks on the trail, Wild Bill and Nuggets arrive at a western town where they encounter each other, leading to a confrontation. The story features a subplot involving a railroad construction boss named Ellis and an Indian curse involving an invisible arrow that strikes down a camp guard. Wild Bill ultimately confronts Nuggets in a showdown, threatening to arrest him and uphold the law despite their long partnership.
