The Wicked + The Divine #18
Issue 18 of The Wicked + The Divine presents one of the series' most visually striking covers: a pale, blue-haired figure with piercing yellow eyes gazes coolly outward, surrounded by glowing daisy-like bursts of light set against a wash of vivid pink and magenta — and the title itself is rendered half in mirror-image, as if the world has been turned upside down. The design feels deliberately disorienting, matching the story's teasing title, "Don't Call it a Comeback." The creative team of Gillen, McKelvie, Wilson, and Cowles continues to prove that this series treats every issue as an opportunity to push the visual language of comics somewhere genuinely unexpected.
