Thor: First Thunder #4
In "Foreign Matter," Thor is drawn into a global conflict when Tony Stark and Reed Richards seek his aid against a growing threat from American super-beings. As Chen Lu is enlisted by the Chinese to create a countermeasure, he transforms into the Radioactive Man, forcing Don Blake—on the India-China border—to answer the call as Thor, battling both enemy tanks and his new foe. With a past punishment from Odin echoing in memory and Loki manipulating events from the shadows, Thor's journey takes a dangerous turn, culminating in a shocking confrontation in Times Square. Written by Bryan J. L. Glass and illustrated by Tan Eng Huat, with a striking cover by Jay Anacleto, this pivotal issue redefines Thor's role in a world where gods and mortals collide.
