Written by David Michelinie and illustrated by Jim Mooney, with inks by Brett Breeding and Morgan, colors by Nelson Yomtov, and letters by Janice Chiang, this 1987 Marvel UK issue features a cover by Steve Parkhouse.

Tessa finishes telling her Panthro her story. Warned by the Sword, Lion- runs to rescue them but is trapped by slithering vines. By the time he frees himself, they have refueled the Thundertank using Tessa's magic and run off the Rockmen. Tessa returns to the Warrior Maiden. Lion-o is consoled by Jaga right before Jaga's ghost violently disappears.
