# Timmy the Timid Ghost #31 This issue contains two stories. In the first, a wizard assigns Timmy and Maxie magical tasks including retrieving a blue whale from the ocean's bottom and capturing a dancing grizzly bear, while a red-haired character warns them the tasks are too dangerous. In the second story, a rubber worm named Willie joins an animal council including Bollie the Bass, Raro the Rabbit, Polly the Pigeon, and Froggo the Frog to devise a plan protecting young fish from fishermen using rubber worms as bait. The animals work together to educate the fish about the dangers of hooks, ultimately succeeding in keeping bass away from fishing hooks during the summer season.

Timmy and his pal Maxie venture into Terrible Woods to rescue their friend Wilma, who's been held captive by the mischievous magician Tumulto. To secure her freedom—and Wilma's magical broom—the two ghostly friends must complete three seemingly impossible tasks: retrieving the Great Blue Marlin from the sea, capturing the North Star from the sky, and bringing back Grimo, a dancing grizzly bear. With only a mysterious protective scarf from Tumulto's sympathetic daughter to aid them, Timmy and Maxie embark on a perilous journey filled with magical dangers and wild surprises.
