Tip Top Comics #88

Tip Top Comics #88 is an anthology featuring multiple comic strips. "The Captain and the Kids" depicts the Captain and his nephews attempting to control a donkey cart, which goes awry when the animal bucks and throws them about. "Hawkshaw the Detective" shows Hawkshaw attempting to help a woman with her cooking problems, particularly regarding guinea hen preparation, but he inadvertently uses the wrong fork at dinner and creates chaos. An untitled Iron Vic story follows Iron Vic as he escorts Biff to a boxing match on a beach, where Biff fights Big Bagoo, the wrestling champion from Golawalau Isle, in a bout that ends with Biff knocked down. Finally, "Weelo" features Pepito encountering the sleepy character Weelo in a Mexican village setting, where Weelo causes disruptions throughout the town with his tendency to doze off.
