“La amenaza del monstruo metálico”

In "La amenaza del monstruo metálico," the Challengers chase a fugitive only to face a far greater threat: Halanka, a metallic alien from another world whose powers turn their Jeep into scrap. With help from interplanetary enforcer Thark and his force-field gun, the team must outmaneuver the relentless alien before he escapes. Penciled and inked by Bob Brown, this 1961 adventure from Editorial Novaro delivers high-stakes action with a metallic menace that’s as cold as it is dangerous.

Pursuing a criminal, the Challengers find he's partnered with a metallic fugitive from another world. Halanka, the metal alien, pulls their Jeep with magnetism and melts it with heat. Two Challengers rescue an interplanetary lawman, Thark, who comes to their aid. Using Thark's force-field gun, the Challengers get close enough to "bowl" Halanka over.
