“El secreto de las capsulas del espacio”

In "El secreto de las capsulas del espacio," four mysterious capsules are launched from a Navy destroyer, unleashing a vine-wielding creature that attacks the ship—only for the Challs to repel it with Prof’s spear. As they track the remaining capsules, a drill-nosed monster burrows beneath the surface, while two aliens from the third capsule reveal they’ve been stranded on Earth since the last ice age, needing the oxygen from the final capsule to survive. Written by Dave Wood and illustrated by Bob Brown, with cover art by Bob Brown, this 1962 adventure blends suspense and sci-fi wonder in a story where every capsule holds a new mystery.

A Navy destroyer releases four capsules. From one emerges a creature with vine-like appendages, snaring the ship. The Challs respond, with Prof spearing the heart of the creature. Tracking the other capsules, the Challs spot a drill-nosed monster, but it burrows away. Two aliens come from the third capsule and explain that they came to Earth during the last ice age and that they need the oxygen in the fourth capsule to survive. Red retrieves the capsule and sends off the aliens in their spaceship, but leaving the drill-nose monster behind! The aliens snatch it, however, before zooming away.
