Titanes Planetarios #28
In "Sucesos del año 2,000," unemployed chemist Ken Sabin stumbles upon a curious offer: a $100 paycheck for a state-of-the-art robot meant to serve as a household assistant. With his wife’s encouragement, he takes the job, only to grow uneasy as the sleek, efficient machines begin to feel less like tools and more like something watching. Written by Sid Gerson and illustrated by Irwin Hasen, with inks by Bernard Sachs, this 1956 tale from Editorial Novaro presents a quietly unsettling vision of the future, where the line between servant and master may not be as clear as it seems. The cover, by Murphy Anderson, captures the era’s sleek sci-fi aesthetic with a striking, futuristic edge.
