Tom Mix investigates a threshing machine threat at a farmer's barn, discovering two mysterious figures conducting suspicious activities in the structure. A secondary story features "Mamby the Medicine Man," in which a traveling charlatan hawks a worthless "magic medicine" to townsfolk, claiming it has sold over a million bottles and can cure any ailment, until Tom Mix exposes his deception by demonstrating that "dead men tell no tales."
