Written by Alan Moore and others, with art by a rotating roster of talents, it reprints issues #1-6 of the 2004 series.
In 1950, Tom Strong and two CIA agents venture beneath the Arctic ice, uncovering a hidden cavern they believe holds Nazi secrets. What they find instead is an ancient, alien presence—symbiotes born from centuries of human fear and hatred, now awakening in the dark.
In "Tesla Time," young Tesla Strong steals her brother Tom's spaceship keys and embarks on a wild, unauthorized trip to an inhabited asteroid, where she encounters the legendary King Solomon. The adventure leaves her drunk and disoriented, but she manages to slip back to Earth unnoticed—her escapade a secret only she and the stars know.
On the island of Attabar Teru, young Tom Strong ventures beyond the village of Ozu to investigate an ancient shipwreck near the Forgotten Shore, where he encounters a ghostly presence tied to the island’s past. As he learns of the island’s first inhabitants through the stories of Chief Omotu, Tom finds himself drawn into a mystery that blurs the line between memory and the supernatural.
In "The Halfway House," Jonni Future inherits a mysterious, foreboding estate from her uncle—only to discover he was the long-lost space adventurer Johnny Future. Soon after, she’s pulled into the Crepusculum, a distant future where she’s thrust into an ancient cosmic struggle alongside the feline warrior Jermaal pan Pavane, who declares her the new champion of the Grand Array.
In the vast reaches of space, Jonni Future and her companion Jermaal pan Pavane face a deadly threat from the Swarm, a relentless force that tests their courage and resolve. As Jonni devises a clever strategy to overcome the danger, she finds herself growing more confident in her role among the stars—redefining her place in a life far beyond Earth.
In "Young Tom Strong and the Thunderbirds of Attabar Teru," a young Tom Strong faces a rite of passage among the Ozu tribe on the distant planet Attabar Teru: slay a Thunderbird to prove his worth. Refusing to take a life he doesn’t need, Tom instead rides the massive creature, taming it through courage and instinct, and returns to the village not as a killer, but as a legend.
In "Young Tom Strong and the View Beyond the Veil," a young Tom Strong slips into a deep Goloka coma after absorbing too much from the tribal shaman, plunging him into the Land of Shadows. There, he confronts terrifying visions of those he knows—Chief Omotu and Dhalua—testing his mind and spirit as he fights to reclaim his awareness.
