This issue contains two main stories. The first, "A Sandy Cove," depicts a naval rescue in which a submarine commander named Bruno Salvatore risks his men and submarine to save an Allied ship, an act of mercy toward enemies that costs him his life when he is killed months later in battle near Tunisia. The second story follows Prince Henry as he battles invaders at a citadel, ultimately defeating them and discovering hidden gold that allows him to rebuild a mission and provide food for the poor.
