This anthology issue contains multiple stories. "Bob Fitzgerald," focusing on the 1948 U.S. Olympic speed skating team, follows Bob Fitzgerald as he prepares to compete at the Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland, with the team later traveling to Oslo, Norway for the World Championships. Another story depicts a biblical narrative in which an old priest with an idol is beaten to death by villagers who destroy his false god, only to witness a miraculous resurrection the next morning that convinces them of God's power. A third story retells the biblical account of Abraham's hospitality to three angels disguised as men, God's promise that Sarah will bear a son, and Abraham's subsequent dialogue with God regarding the destruction of Sodom.
