Totally Awesome Hulk #2

The second chapter of "Cho Time" arrives with a Frank Cho cover that makes a striking first impression: a blue-skinned, red-armored warrior woman stands triumphant atop a downed green Hulk, wielding both a massive spiked club and a broad sword, while the severed — and very much still dripping — head of a giant reptile looms behind her on a leash, with additional lizard creatures lurking in the rubble nearby. Greg Pak scripts, and Sonia Oback's colors give the whole scene a rich, almost painterly warmth that makes the carnage feel weirdly gorgeous. With a tiny inset of a glowing-eyed robot hinting at more trouble ahead, issue #2 sets a confident, adventurous tone for this series.
